Fǟk Mōl Vrët (/faːk/ /moːl/ [famous] [mail]) is a subtropical Town located in Maktǐsăb Zone, Jizanuta Diocese, within the Covenent of Irus.

The name Fǟk Mōl Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Fǟk Mōl Vrët was founded by Churk Khunromud, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Fǟk Mōl Vrët has a yearly average temperature of 18°C (64°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 9°C (48°F). Fǟk Mōl Vrët receives an average of 149 cm/y (58 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Fǟk Mōl Vrët covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 5410 m (17749 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fǟk Mōl Vrët was founded durring the early 12th century in spring of the year 1139, by Churk Khunromud. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Churk Khunromud.

Fǟk Mōl Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fǟk Mōl Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fǟk Mōl Vrët is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt flagstone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Astonishigly, the millitarily questionable fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Fǟk Mōl Vrët is like looking into a university’s plaza on the day before an exam. People rush about to-and-fro. Discarded scrolls and quills are dotted around town. In spite of many locals discussing academic topics, there’s little sign of any organized groups for any of that talk. Infact, the town seems disordered in general with everything scattered helter skelter about.

Civic Infrastructure

Fǟk Mōl Vrët has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Fǟk Mōl Vrët. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Fǟk Mōl Vrët's parks.

Cultural Notes

Fǟk Mōl Vrët's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is skipped in Fǟk Mōl Vrët.

Fǟk Mōl Vrët's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves sacrificing an animal to channel Augury energies of tier 3 via chanting.

Outsiders might be playing a major role as well, and it could be they plot to siphon off the profits.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century an unusualy harsh winter spawned a deadly blizard to Fǟk Mōl Vrët. The ice, snow, and wind killed 119 people, 282 livestock, and destroyed 52. The event is remembered as Torment's Breath.
